places to meet boys?
August 24, 2008Okay, so I’m single. And I have a couple of single friends.
Well, one of them and I were sitting around the other night trying to come up with some new ideas on how to meet boys. And we made a list on a napkin. Which is sort of the idea behind the title of this blog. So… I’m going to share them here. And then if any of them actually work, it’ll be like, I don’t know… we can take credit for it or something!
Here goes.
1. Events and Adventures
2. Bull riding / Line dancing
3. Match.com
4. Singles bars / speed dating
5. Sporting events / rec sports
6. Gym
7. Jazz / live music
8. Church
9. Windsurfing
10. ’80′s clubs
11. Bicycle club
They are no particular order except the order in which they occurred to us. And some are definitely better than others. (singles bars? yeesh!) Anyway… dear universe, now it’s out there. So, help us out!!!
Happy dating everyone. And if anyone has other ideas, we’d love to hear them. 
How about the pool? oh maybe not… there’s only depressed dads at the pool I go to.

*Small town events.. (there’s usually lonely single nice guys in small towns right?)..
*Online discussion forums..(I know a girl who met her fiance this way, he lived in Kentucky and they dated about 2 years, he has now moved to MN)..
